COVID-19 Info

In these unprecedented and difficult times, we all must do what we can to support our communities efforts to reduce the risk and exposure of COVID-19. The health and safety of our guests and crew members is our number one priority.

Since our guest capacity is only 12 (plus 6 crew) and our boat is so large, we have no trouble providing ample space for our customers. Also our clients choose who is in their group and how they want to distance between each other or may even be in a "quaranteam" together!

The Sacajawea maintains a rigorous process around cleanliness and hygiene. Our crew members are diligently working to ensure that we meet the latest guidance on hygiene and cleaning protocols.

Specific steps we are taking include:

  • Proper and frequent hand washing, thorough disinfection of food preparation surfaces before and after service, in addition to regular sanitation of our vessel before and after use. We have increased the frequency and focus of our cleaning procedures, with focus on high-touch areas like handrails and doorknobs, and all touch surfaces.

  • Face covering (mask) and gloves for crew at all times.

  • Health assessment for crew and guests prior to boarding.

  • We suggest guests wear a mask while inside (we have extra masks onboard).

  • We suggest physical distancing at all times.

  • Hand sanitizer throughout the boat.

  • All doors open creating healthy ventilation.

  • Hygiene Manager constantly sanitizing all handrails, door handles, wood, bar surfaces and restrooms.

  • Furniture arranged in accordance with physical distancing rules and restrictions.

  • Additional safety measures for food service.
